Summer Camp Sign-Up Time!

The Patrol Leader Council has elected Kerr Scout Ranch, a.k.a. Slippery Falls, for summer camp this year. We are registered for Week #2, which is June 9-15, in the Walking Seven campsite. Total cost is $310 per Scout, $200 per Adult. Prices go up by $35/person after April 30. So, the following payment schedule is recommended:

Online payment option

Scouts and Parents,
Thanks to Mr. Joe Thomason, you may now be invoiced and/or use your credit card to pay for campouts and other activities! To use the online payment option, enter 'Invoice' in the notes field when registering for an event on our website. Our treasurer will email an invoice which you can then use to pay with credit, debit or bank transfer. All online transactions are through Intuit Quickbooks. A 5% convienience fee will be added when using any electronic form of payment. So invoices will reach you, please ensure your email address is correct in your Troop website account (your account here...after logging in, click on 'My Profile').

One of the pinnacle achievements in Boy Scouts is the completion of one or more of the four National Council sponsored High Adventure camps; Florida Sea Base, Northern Tier, Philmont Scout Ranch and Summit Bechtel Reserve (started in 2014).

TRAINING! Youth Protection and Hazardous Weather

In February 2018, the BSA introduced newly updated Youth Protection Training (YPT). Since YPT is required once every two years, most adults will need to complete the training this year.  Hazardous Weather is an annual requirement.
